How to Make Tough Decisions Without Losing Your Mind

It has become clear I need to add at least one additional revenue stream to my business to pay for some of the other things I want to do with the company.

I want to start running ads, but I want to do it meaningfully, so I need more revenue to cover those costs.

I also want to start a private group that acts as a community and content resource, and the software companies that offer that capability require a sizable upfront investment.

I have a few different ideas about how to pursue that next revenue stream. Some are easier to execute than others, but all are worth considering. The obstacle I’m facing is deciding which path to take.

The decision is difficult because I don’t know which one will be the most lucrative, not just for my revenue but also for the benefit of anyone involved. I stopped chasing money opportunities a long time ago because they always seemed enticing from the outside, but once I got into them, I didn’t enjoy the process.

Now, I only do things that bring me joy and result in other people's happiness, leaving me with a few options. Which one do I choose?

There is only one option. Pick one and be ok with the result.

Once one is picked, there’s no going back. Maybe the decision is wrong or less lucrative than another choice, but we can’t go backward. Perhaps we can try other things later, which should give us solace when making a difficult decision, but for the moment, make a choice and live with the result.
