Not going to Mars, not buying a Tesla
A soapbox and a request all in one update
I sold my Tesla stock shares this week, trading them in for Apple stock instead. A good idea? I don’t know, but I feel better.
I did this for a few reasons, but mostly because I can’t justify supporting a megalomaniacal, conspiracy-toting, narcissistic billionaire whose goal is to completely ruin what was one of my favorite online platforms.
By the same measure, I deleted my Twitter account, which was difficult for me because I’ve met so many great artists through that platform, but I stopped seeing that content as much as was flooded with a ton of political content that I didn’t care to see.
But hey, you’re not here for that, and I’m going to make this one short and sweet,

I salute you for leaving Twitter for the reasons you mentioned in your newsletter! Totally agree, even though I was never active on Twitter, not too long ago I checked it out again because they say Web3 and NFT business is mostly happening on Twitter. Apparently I re-entered Twitter on the day the Elon Musk tweeted the 'bring back Trump or not' tweet and I immediately got annoyed and left again. I hope many more people will leave, just like you did, and something new and inspiring rises up again. If I am going to support any person going for world domination, I rather choose to support you, lol.
